mypooch.ai is committed to making our website and app usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability.
Our standard
We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These are the international standard for accessible web content, covering visual, motor, auditory, cognitive, and language needs.
What we’ve built in
- Semantic HTML: proper heading structure, landmarks, lists, and form labels so screen readers can navigate.
- Keyboard navigation: all interactive elements are reachable and operable with a keyboard alone.
- Color contrast: text and interactive elements meet or exceed WCAG AA contrast ratios.
- Alt text on images: meaningful descriptions for content images, empty alt for decorative ones.
- Focus indicators: visible focus rings on all interactive elements.
- Responsive layout: works at 200% zoom and on mobile screens without horizontal scrolling.
- Aria labels: on icon-only buttons and navigation landmarks where text isn’t visible.
- Form labels: every input has a programmatically associated label.
What we’re still working on
Honest list of areas we know are imperfect and that we’re improving:
- Comprehensive screen reader testing across NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver
- Captioning for any video content (we don’t have video yet, but it’s coming)
- Reduced-motion preferences honored for all animated elements
- High-contrast theme option (separate from our default warm-amber theme)
- Plain-language summaries of long policy pages
Third-party content
Some parts of mypooch.ai rely on third-party services (payment processing, hosting, AI providers). We work with vendors who take accessibility seriously, but we can’t guarantee their content meets the same standards. If you encounter an issue in a third-party component, please tell us so we can either fix it or escalate to the vendor.
Report an accessibility issue
If you encounter a barrier using our website or app — anything that’s blocking you from doing what you’re trying to do — please tell us:

- We aim to acknowledge reports within 2 business days and respond with a plan or fix within 10
Alternative formats
If you need information from this site in an alternative format (large print, screen-reader-friendly document, plain language), email support@mypooch.ai and we’ll provide it.
Continuous improvement
Accessibility is not a checkbox. We audit new pages and features against WCAG before they ship, and we revisit existing pages periodically. This statement will be updated as we improve.
